Workplace and Professional Loss

Loss shows up at work in ways we're not taught to handle: a beloved colleague who dies, a layoff that ends a career and an identity, a practice or business you built that comes to an end. The workplace is where many of us spend our lives, and losing that world — or losing someone within it — is a real bereavement. Grief doesn't clock out at 5pm, and it deserves acknowledgment at the office too.
